They have a hair salon and a nail person who comes in, and they have a podiatrist that comes. They have a beautiful front porch where they can sit in one of 20 rockers underneath beautifully kept, hanging floral baskets. They have a beautiful library where they can go and choose a book of their choice and read. They play mind games like four words searches, just to stimulate brain activity, and they have puzzles that go on throughout the day. They also have another room where they can do arts and crafts, they have a room where they can just listen to music. Someone referred to it as the cruise ship that never leaves port and I have to agree. So if you're an early person, you can select the early meal or the late dinner. They play bingo, and cornhole, they have a miniature golf course outside, and they have very nice sections where they can socialize with other residents in there. They repainted, they put in new carpeting and new floors, and it's only a three-year establishment, so that was encouraging. The apartments themselves were renovated before each new resident moved in, which was very nice and important. And when they push their buttons, somebody comes within a reasonable amount of time to help them, whether it's in the middle of the night or first thing in the morning, or throughout the day. They have a pendant that they wear, in case they need some help they can be found at all times. They have a 24/7 care, which was very important to me because my father needed supervision around the clock. Everything was hot, it was served with love and care by the staff members. I was invited to a Labor Day picnic, and the food was phenomenal. Everyone we saw was happy, and we were happy to see movement amongst the residents. We were delighted from the first moment we stepped inside, we were greeted by very kind and caring staff members and nurses. Sharon We went with All American at Washington Township for my dad.
